‘Bleigiessen’ by Thomas Heatherwick @ Wellcome Trust photographed by Norbert Schoerner

This permanent installation at the Wellcome Trust headquarters in central London is 29 meters (7 storeys) tall, weighs 14 tonnes and is composed of 142,000 glass spheres and 840 kilometers of stainless steel wire.

Whilst the vantage point of this image has never actually existed, it was devised and created by Norbert Schoerner in order to clearly represent the immense scale and majesty of the work.
